Ingredients (Makes 1 Loaf)

2 1/3 Cups Whole Wheat Flour

2 Cups White Flour

2 tsp Salt

1 tsp Quick Rise or Rapid Rise Yeast

2 1/8 Cups warm water (Note: 1/8 of a cup is 2 Tbsp).

Olive oil

Cornmeal

Directions

Combine Whole Wheat Flour, White Flour, Salt, Yeast.

Add Water and mix together.

Cover and let sit for 2 hours at least (But can sit overnight or longer... totally forgiving recipe).

Scrape down side of bowl and let the dough fall.

Prepare pan with Olive oil and Cornmeal sprinkled.

Pour dough onto pan.

Pat dough down (Some do; some do not pat down the dough).

Pour on Olive Oil.

Poke all over with finger.

Place any toppings.

Let rise 30 minutes.

Pre-heat oven to 400F.

Bake 30 minutes.

Cool on cooling rack.

Comments

This is exceedingly easy, doesn't require kneading, and tastes good. Try it!
